Health and medical law

This area of law tends to exist at the interface between law and health. Our members appear in courts and tribunals and advise on diverse areas such as Accident Compensation appeals, assisted reproductive technology, the regulation of health professionals, and advice on employment-related health issues.

Members also appear in the High Court on claims for exemplary damages and in judicial review proceedings involving health providers, and can appear as amicus curiae or counsel to assist the Court in cessation of treatment or end of life cases in the High Court.
