New High Watermark in Leaky Building Case

Christine Meechan QC acted as senior counsel for the owners of the Nautilus building to whom Justice Gilbert awarded over $23 million in damages in a decision released on 29th April 2015 .The award against Brookfield Multiplex Construction (NZ) Ltd (In Liquidation) and the Auckland Council is the highest award in the 'leaky building' cases that are being considered by the High Court.
